Does Mediaspank Reveal How London-Centric the UK Media Really Is?

Because Mediaspank is based in Bristol, its tone and perspective feel noticeably different from the typical London-dominated narratives we see in the UK press.
Do regional voices like this bring more authenticity and balance to media analysis? Is the UK media industry too concentrated in London, resulting in limited viewpoints and repetitive storytelling?
Would journalism benefit if more independent platforms emerged from Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff and other cities — each offering their own take on politics, culture and the media?
